Moving on through Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle there is no stone left unturned. Tom Venuto reveals everything you could ever need to know about the intricacies of diet manipulation to achieve fat loss or muscle gain.
Basic essentials are covered such as how to determine your individual calorie requirements; body fat percent, lean body mass, basal metabolic rate (BMR) and how your body type can impact the type of protocol you should follow.
The roles of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, are explained in easy to understand language, and you are taught how to manipulate nutrient ratio's for optimal results.
By the end of chapter 14, designing your own healthy eating menus will be a breeze and you will know which foods help to burn fat and which are fat producing disasters!
