More Fantastic Weight Loss Tips

Boost Your Fat Loss!

This is the second part of my article focusing on super effective weight loss tips which may help to take you to a new leaner, healthier you, faster than ever before!

9) One of the weight loss tips that many find effective is to drink green tea.
The caffeine contained within green tea acts powerfully on your metabolism while at the same time suppressing your appetite.

10) Incorporate kettlebell training into your diet program.
Training with kettlebells is a form of high intensity resistance training. One very interesting study reported that performing regular high intensity exercise while consuming a very low calorie diet had a signifcant effect of maintaining resting metabolic rate and lean body mass while inducing fat loss. 11) Adjust protein intake.
One of the hottest weight loss tips is to adjust your protein intake to provide a greater proportion of your designated daily calories while REDUCING carbohydrate consumption. Protein rich foods are harder to digest and have the effect of blunting your appetite making you feel fuller for longer.


Other favourite top weight loss tips that may help you include: -

12) Make sure you get enough healthy fats
Consuming oily fish such as salmon, mackerel and tuna (or an omega 3 supplement) at least 3 times per week can assist your body in using fat for fuel.

13) Set REALISTIC GOALS.
Setting realistic goals is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT weight loss tips. By establishing realistic and obtainable goals prior to the start of your diet you set yourself up for success after success which in itself fosters increased motivation and self belief - both crucial elements in successful dieting!

14) Use smaller plates, bowls and cutlery sets.
This is a GREAT little tip for fat loss!The use of smaller plates and bowls means that portion sizes can be reduced, while still appearing to fill the plate. In addition if you use smaller spoons and forks, it takes longer to consume your meals which increases the likelihood of you feeling fuller - and less likely to snack later on!

15) Schedule in a cheat meal once per week.
Including a cheat meal once per week can make a diet much more bearable and the additional calories within the meal can often serve to lift your mood and give you a mental boost.

16) Be careful in the TIMING of your meals.
Yes that's right, be mindful of what you eat and when! Construct food choices around how active you will be - sitting in front of the TV - choose salads and lean protein sources NOT carbohydrate loaded foods!

17) Keep motivational messages for yourself
This one of the most basic weight loss tips, yet despite its simplicity, it works very well indeed!
Simply get a post it note pad or use inspirational photographs and leave them dotted around your house to keep you focused on the job in hand.

18) My final strategy in this weight loss article is to remove all temptation!
We ALL at some point have moments of weakness where food is concerned, but when aiming for significant fat loss its paramount that these temptations are resisted.

I suggest that my clients avoid having any food in the house that may lead them into temptation and sabotage their hard earned fat loss efforts!

When it comes to weight loss, none of the above matter if you are not generating a calorie deficit - in other words you MUST eat fewer calories than you expend to lose fat.
