Benefits - Part 1

Efficient and Super Effective!

Kettlebell training is rapidly becoming recognised as one of the most complete training systems known to man. If you incorporate regular training with kettlebells into your life you can look forward to receiving a whole host of benefits. This article sets out to see what they are.

Whether your goal is to burn body fat, increase strength, build muscle, improve cardiovascular fitness or help in the rehabilitation of back pain and muscle imbalances - training with kettlebells can take you there. Juggling Kettlebells

Now let’s look at exactly how they can be of benefit to YOU!

Save Money On Gym Fee's
Kettlebells are reasonably cheap commodities – in so much as you don’t need many, two is ideal, but one is more than capable of putting you through your paces and delivering an incredible, whole body workout.

Due to their versatility, they can do anything that a piece of gym equipment can do and can be used almost anywhere and so, could save you money on very expensive gym fee’s and travelling back and forth.

There is literally nothing that a kettlebell can’t deliver when compared to the benefits associated with using cardio vascular equipment or resistance machines and free weights down at the gym.

Convenient
The convenience of kettlebells is one of their big attractions!

You can perform kettlebell workouts outdoors, at home and in the garden – in fact, anywhere you like. An added bonus is being able to carry one or two in the back of your car, so that working out away from home need not be a problem.

One of my favourite places to train is down by the sea – the experience of working hard, with the wind in your face, and waves crashing on the shore is quite amazing – and certainly takes your mind off the fact that your actually working out!

Efficient
If your pushed for time, and need to get in an awesome workout – kettlebells are the way forwards!

Quite literally, you can have a great kettlebell workout in as little as 10 minutes. High repetition swings, snatches and cleans to press will get you sweating, breathing harder and tax the body as a complete unit while burning a whole lot of calories during, and in the hours after your workout (more on this later).

Now, no matter how busy you are – there is NO EXCUSE for being unable to find the time to workout!

Increased Cardiovascular Fitness
THIS is one of kettlebell training's biggest benefits!

Cardiovascular fitness is the element of total fitness which refers to the body’s ability to take in, distribute, and transport oxygen to the working muscles. The greater the individuals cardiovascular fitness, the more oxygen gets pumped around the body to the muscles, the more work can be done, and the better the performance.

When performing exercises such as kettlebell swings, kettlebell snatches and kettlebell clean and press for high reps - the demand on the body for energy can be huge!

As a result, the heart works harder to try and provide the body with the oxygen it needs - your breathing rate increases and as you perform rep after rep, the heart continues to pump hard.

The result CAN be a VERY effective cardio vascular workout - without even setting foot near a treadmill, elliptical trainer or stationery cycle! Hallelujah I here you say!!

Kettlebell Fat Loss
When it comes to promoting fat loss, kettlebell training is the way forwards!

As I have already mentioned, an awesome cardiovascular workout can be achieved from high rep kettlebell exercises!

One of the major benefits when training with kettlebells is what happens after the workout is done. You see, performing exercises using kettlebells in their own right, burns off a load of calories - that's for sure.

If the exercise is performed with sufficient intensity - the demands placed on the body are such that once the exercise has finished, the body desperately tries to restore the balance and bring itself back to its fully rested and recovered state - this requires energy which translates to MORE calories burned.


Kettlebell Fat Loss - Made Easy!

It can be difficult to know exactly what to do when it comes to constructing your own fat loss kettlebell training program. For those of you who would like the guess work taken out of the equation there are one or two products available on the market that I can personally recommend that can make your task a great deal easier.

First up is Chris Lopez e-book package Turbulence Training - Kettlebell Revolution.

This is one of my favourite kettlebell training programs aimed specifically at fat loss using kettlebells. It's informative, easy to follow and spans 28 weeks which is AMPLE time for anyone to make significant changes to the way their body looks.

For any ladies looking to burn fat effectively and quickly using kettlebell training I can highly recommend Caroline Radway's Kettlebellebody Program.
